Thank you for your interest in partnering with My Enrichment to provide great enrichment programs to the community.
My Enrichment is dedicated to providing safe and fun programs for children. My Enrichment is not responsible for ensuring schools meet district compliance requirements. It is the principal/director of the school that ensures district compliance. Programs will only be available when principal of the school approves them. However, on behalf of the schools, My Enrichment is working with DPS District to understand district policy and procedures for contracting with vendors. We are currently working with vendors to help them meet compliance requirements.
PAYMENT: My Enrichment handles payments for all programs and pay vendors in arrears. We handle all cancellation and refunds. We take a % of the retail price. We cover all credit card charges and copies of catalog to each school. We provide schools with master list of student participating in enrichment programs, student list to teachers, monitor list, and master family information. We provide vendors with instructor list, family information for their specific program, and vendor payment information. Schools may add an additional % to vendor fee to cover monitor costs, scholarships, facility fee etc. My Enrichment will collect money and pay the school on your behalf.
My Enrichment pays vendors every two weeks. Payment schedule for 2010 Fall Brochure (Sep, Oct, Nov) is 9/17, 10/1, 10/15, 10/29, 11/12, 11/26.
Payment schedule for 2010/2011 Winter Brochure (Dec, Jan, Feb) is 12/10, 12/24, 1/7, 1/21, 2/11, 2/25
Payment schedule for 2011 Spring Brochure (Mar, Apr, May) is 3/11, 3/25, 4/8, 4/22, 5/6, 5/20, 6/3.
PUBLIC vs PRIVATE VENDOR:
Public Vendor: Individual or Corporation who want to teach at multiple schools and grow their business.
Private Vendor: Faculty member, parent, or community member that wants to provide enrichment programs at a their community school and not interested in growing beyond that school.
As a Public Vendor, My Enrichment requires PROOF of liability insurance and background checks for each instructor. Once My Enrichment has proof, we will go to the school on your behalf and receive approval.
GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE: A minimum of $1 million in liability insurance. This may change as the business grows and My Enrichment is managing programs in multiple districts with each district having their own liability insurance requirements.
BACKGROUND CHECK: If you are an established company that performs your own background checks on your employees, it is recommended that you conduct an FBI background check which requires fingerprinting of instructors. You may open an account with Colorado Bureau of Investigations under the Volunteer Children's Act CRS 24-72-305.3. Total cost is approximately $50 with $10 for fingerprint and $38.50 for CBI processing fee. If you are an individual or a small vendor growing your business, you may have your CBI/FBI Fingerprint background check done through My Enrichment. The vendor is responsible for payment of background check.
If that is not available, you must provide the following as a MINIMUM background check process requirement.
1. Conduct Social Security Number Trace – This gives all locations that the instructor has lived. The initial search must include instructor’s legal name and other names used throughout the instructor’s life. At contract renewal, only names used within the previous year is required. Typically cost is $6/name.
2. Conduct County Criminal Search –The initial search must include all counties the instructor has lived throughout his or her life. At contract renewal, only the counties the instructor has lived within the last year is required. Typical cost is approximately $10/county but varies depending on the county.
3. Conduct National Sex Offender Registry Search – This must be done every year – initial background check and at contract renewal. Typical cost is $5/search.
4. Name Search on Internet Search Engine – The purpose of the search is to find any articles or news with the instructor’s legal name or other names used to identify possible criminal activity that could negatively impact the safety of participants.
Once My Enrichment receives proof of Background Check and Liability Insurance, we will receive approval from the schools with the Vendor Approval Form.
As a Private Vendor, you must work with school administration and parent volunteer/enrichment liaison to receive approval from principal. Print out the Vendor Approval Form and receive principal/directors approval. When My Enrichment receives approval from school, we will contact you to begin the scheduling process. |
